Mary Lincoln remains an interesting and somewhat mysterious figure, and there seems to be an inexhaustible appetite for anything Lincoln-related (awkwardly referred to as Lincolniana). Researching her, and the Civil War era generally, has become a hobby of mine. I have too many unorganized tidbits of information cluttering my brain, and am eager to get them out into the wild, where they might lead to research and new finds.
